Check out this interesting report from WGBH’s Beat the Press and subsequent comment by News Platoon. A less sarcastic and hyperbolic Jay Severin? Hard to imagine. And hard to take seriously, since Severin repeatedly professed absolute belief in the radical views he has offered.
Severin has often expressed admiration for Mitt Romney. Will Severin now be forced to take Romney’s approach of saying whatever is necessary to win more fans? If he changes his rhetoric, will Severin say the “new Jay” is what he has really been like all along and that he had been goaded by WTKK to go over the top? Or will he claimed to have found religion in moderation during his extended “time out?”
I can’t wait for the next episode.
